Saltwater trips

Where we fish

Departing from the village of Ucluelet, BC the rugged beauty of this spectacular coastline reveals herself and boasts some of the finest fishing and scenery in the world.
Dreams come to life amidst the Broken Group archipelago which lies south of Barkley sound and is home to the traditional territory of the Nuu-cha-nulth First Nations. Fishing both inshore and offshore for trophy sized salmon and halibut, we put a twist on traditional angling techniques to land you your fish of a lifetime.
Join us for an action packed fishing adventure.

Targeted saltwater species

On the ocean, we’re fishing for the hard fighting Chinook and Coho salmon both inshore and offshore. Lingcod, Rockfish, and Vermillion are our targeted species when jigging the drifts around the rocky shores. Pulling crab traps at the end of the day is a fun bonus to our daily catch. After fighting the mighty salmon in the morning, we head offshore in the afternoon anchoring up for some epic Halibut fishing action.

Upon anchor you can expect to see Skate, Dog-fish, and Blue Sharks while waiting for that giant Hali to strike. If we are really lucky, we occasionally end the day with a surprise show from the majestic ocean giants (Whales). Species retention limits are determined by current regional Salt-water synopsis.
